Mission:

The purpose of DeKalb County Farmland Foundation is to preserve farmland and open space in DeKalb County, Illinois for the benefit of current and future generations.

Goals:

To responsibly steward land and conservation easements under our jurisdiction through regular monitoring and legal defense.

To promote soil and water conservation education, practices, and sustainable land management.

To advocate sound environmental policies and encourage public discussion of land use planning.

To build and maintain an effective organization through partnerships and through fiscal responsibility to donors.
